Pre-purchase preparations for a guitar.
The devil is in the details. The same product purchased in different locations can vary significantly.

Considering the natural properties of wood, it swells and deforms when it absorbs water, just like paper. The outer layer of the guitar’s finish can block most of the moisture, but the inner layer of the guitar’s body, which affects its sound clarity, is not painted. This results in slight variations during the manufacturing process, transportation, and storage. Small differences can significantly impact the overall playing experience. Therefore, we take great care in conducting thorough inspections and adjustments before sales, ensuring that you receive the best possible feel and sound when purchasing a guitar.

Our shop recommends adjusting the string spacing to a 12-string setting.
Acoustic guitar: First string, 2mm; Sixth string, 2.5mm.
Classical guitar: First string, 3mm; Sixth string, 3.5mm.
Ukulele: First string, 2.7 mm; Sixth string, 2.75 mm.
